| Brief Summary of Proposal | This class will introduce students to a system perspective in
accounting using up-to-date business software products. The
course will focus on accounting's role in business information
identification, processing, and analysis. The change from the
content previously incorporated in the class is reflected in
the name change for the course, and will include a greater emphasis
on accounting software capabilities and usage, and less of an
emphasis on the rote mechanics of the accounting cycle. |
