| Brief Summary of Proposal | The business environments continue to be subjected to
radical new developments in information technology.
Progressive firms in the accounting profession are

enabling factor for survival and success in these rapidly
changing business environments. Such progressive firms in
the accounting profession proactively transformed themselves
in order to thrive in these environments by adapting to
this new business reality. Recognizing these changes in
the market places, the George W. Daverio School of
Accountancy decided to proactively transform itself to
adapt to this market reality by offering Accounting
Information Systems Program option as part of its academic
