Brief Summary of ProposalCoverage of material in the MTAX courses - Basic Tax Research (a required course), and State and Local Taxation (an elective) is being expanded in order to better address the new issues in the tax discipline. The MTAX program requires a minimum of 30 credits. Since the number of credits for the required courses is being increased from 10 to 11, the elective credits are being reduced from 20 to 19.
