| Brief Summary of Proposal | Effective in the spring semester of 1999, the Department of Sociology deleted 3850:429, Probation and Parole from their curriculum. This course is currently required of Criminal Justice students who desire a “Corrections” focus. Reacting to this deletion, advisors in criminal justice have been regularly substituting a Current Topics in Criminal Justice course (Community Corrections) in its place. The purpose of this proposal is to create a course entitled “Community Corrections”. |
