| Brief Summary of Proposal | Industrial/Organizational Psychology (240) is typically an advanced class in most undergraduate curricula across the U.S. However, here at The University of Akron, it has traditionally had a 200-level number even though the course has been taught as if it were a 300-level class. This change will simply make the course that we've been teaching here match with the level signified by its new number, 380. It also will place it among its peer classes which includes the Psychology Department's other 300-level classes. This number change should help students identify the level, requirements, and expectations involved in this course. |
