| Brief Summary of Proposal | Create a new Minor in Philosophy of Science and Religion that studies
the common quest for truth in contemporary science and religion, e.g.,
the overlapping domains of the origin and nature of the universe,
biological life, mind, value, meaningfulness/meaninglessness, and
religion. This material is interdisciplinary, hence the minor has an
interdisciplinary nature. It will enhance and extend students'
understanding and critical thinking on the models of the relation of
science and religion: Conflict, Independence, Dialogue and/or
