Current issues related to the community control, management, and sanctioning of criminal offenders are a main focus of this class. Specific topics covered in this class include recent correctional interventions such as Re-entry, Community Justice, and Restorative Justice. Additional topics include case management practices, offender assessments, and effectiveness of community corrections are discussed. |
