Brief Summary of ProposalThis proposal outlines course changes in line with the CAAHEP accreditation recommendations. The changes include making alterations in the structure of the courses. The core Athletic Training for Sports Medicine courses will be changed from 4-credit hours [lecture and laboratory component] to one 3-credit course with a subsequent 1-credit laboratory course. This is in line with the instruction, delivery, and compliance of the NATA Clinical Competencies.
