|---|
| Brief Summary of Proposal | Changes the admission requirement for teacher education in that evidence of competency in mathematics, reading, and writing must be demonstrated by achieving the college-set cut score on the Praxis I Pre-Professional Skills Tests (PPST) or have a 22 Composite ACT or a 1050 Composite SAT to be exempted from the PPST for admission. This proposal also removes other options by which a student may currently be exempted from the PPST for admission. (This change affects students being admitted to programs in all departments in the College of Education.) |
