| Brief Summary of Proposal | An elective course at the Graduate level (1 credit hour) or continuing Education Course for Professional Care Providers (15 nursing CE) Non-Professional Care Providers. This course was developed to provide advanced practice nurses with the knowledge and skills necessary to care for clients and patients during the end-of-life. This course is 1 credit hour and may be taken in sequence with Comfort and Care at End-of-Life II or separately.
Elective Course: Comfort and Care at End-of-Life I. This course provides the background for holistic care of persons near end-of-life. Common threads are comfort, symptom management, family, communication, culture, and interdisciplinary care.
