Brief Summary of ProposalThe demand for high quality technical training and the proliferation of computer networks in virtually all organizational environments makes courses in networking an ideal choice for curricular innovation. Since Microsoft is the preeminent vendor of network operating systems, it is a logical choice for students. This proposal creates a new Microsoft Networking Emphasis to Wayne College’s associate degree program in Business Management Technology: Data Management Option. The original Networking Emphasis currently incorporates Novell networking course work in its requirements and will be renamed Business Management Technology: Data Management Option – Novell Networking Emphasis (refer to proposal WC-03-15).
