Brief Summary of ProposalThe current prerequisites for many of the advanced courses in Spanish (300- and 400-level) currently do not reflect the progressive nature of the Spanish curriculum nor do they accurately represent the level of proficiency or previous study required. Accordingly, this proposal asks for changes in prerequisites that will properly indicate the level of proficiency and prior course work needed for entry into courses at these levels.
