| Brief Summary of Proposal | The changes to the requirements for the RN/MSN sequence (i.e., making the two graduate courses elective and not required) will allow all RN/MSN students to graduate within the three semesters if they have met the requirements for the baccalaureate degree, yet will still afford the exceptional student the ability to move forward with his/her plans at an accelerated rate.
Additional changes have been made to the bulletin description which clearly delineates the courses which are available as bypass credit, and changes the portfolio courses (8200:415 and 446) to Credit by exam courses. Portfolios go through a rigorous process of evaluation, and a grade is given; it is more equitable to allow the students to receive credit by exam.
There is also a listing of all courses available as credit by exam.
