| Brief Summary of Proposal | This proposal will update the curriculum for the Office Technology - Health Care Administrative Assistant Option associate degree program in the following ways: 1) the curriculum changes update the administrative and clinical competencies necessary for the medical office practice; 2) a special topics course is being added to introduce students to newly implemented technological advances; 3) the option of taking philosophy or ethics provides flexibility for students who may wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree after completing the associate degree. |
