Brief Summary of ProposalChange pre-req for 5610:463 -- Assessment in Special Education (3 credits) to bring in line with new College of Education core implementation. Because this course number is already elsewhere in the database, there is no Course Change form included here. Pertinent information: Current Prerequisites: 5610:440/540 Developmental Characteristics (3) 5610:447/547 Developmental Characteristics of Individuals with Mild/Moderate Educational Needs (3) Or 5610:448/548 Developmental Characteristics of Individuals with Moderate/Intensive Educational Needs. New Prerequisites: 5610:225 Introduction to Exceptionalities (3) Rationale: The College of Education has created and will be implementing a new core beginning Fall 2006. In order to keep course pre/co-reqs consistent and correct, we are requesting that the co-req for 5610:460 be changed to reflect a pre-requisite of 5610:225 (Introduction to Exceptionalities (3).
