| Brief Summary of Proposal | Return 7400:280 (Early Childhood Curriculum Methods) to the Child Life Program. This course is a prerequisite for 5200:360 (Teaching in the Early Childhood Center) and 5200:301 (Teaching in the ECC Lab). This course had been removed from the Child Life Program effective 2005, however the College of Education was not aware of the action and has since requested that the course be reinstated.
Also, remove 7400:485 Sem: Family and Consumer Sciences - Research Methods from course requirements. This subject matter is delivered more effectively when integrated within other courses. This course, although until now has been required, has inadvertantly been omitted from the Bulletin listing. It is listed on the latest DARWIN. |
