| Brief Summary of Proposal | Require that students take 7400:487 Sports Nutrition 3 credits. As a result of our CADE accreditation visit in Spring 2005, adjustments must be made in the dietetics curriculum. Our accreditors are requiring that Sports Nutrition be taken.
Replace 3250:100 (Introduction to Economics 3 credits) in the General Education Requirements with 3750:100 (Introduction to Psychology 3 credits) and removing the latter course from the list of American Dietetics Association Requirements. In this way, the General Education Requirements are met, the ADA requirements are satisfied. It is important to remove courses that have reduced relevancy to improve flexibility in accommodating the changes in the profession.
