Brief Summary of ProposalThis new Bachelor of Science degree will provide: (1) seamless articulation for University of Akron associate degree students seeking a baccalaureate degree in a field of study for which there is no defined baccalaureate pathway; (2) an opportunity for currently employed associate degree graduates to pursue a baccalaureate to enhance their professional development and career advancement opportunities; and (3) other community college graduates with an opportunity to pursue a baccalaureate in field uniquely defined by their associate degree.
