Brief Summary of ProposalThis proposal reflects the program changes due to the changes in the core requirements for Family and Consumer Sciences, as suggested by the AAFCS Accreditation report. These changes will result in a reduction of 7 required core credits, combined with the introduction of a new course, 7400:450 Families, Individuals and Environments, to cover the subject material formerly covered in the core (see FAA-07-92). With this major change in the program, minor adjustments will also be made, as detailed later. None of these changes will require more resources.
