Brief Summary of ProposalThis proposal reflects the change in the core of The School of Family and Consumer Sciences. A new core course (7400:450, see FAA-07-92)at the senior level serves to reduce the number of credits that students must take. This follows the recommendations given by the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences, the accrediting body for this discipline. Other minor changes can be made to the program at this time to adjust for the reduced credit hours required. These will be detailed in the program change. No additional resources are needed due to these changes.
