Brief Summary of ProposalThis purpose of this proposal is to change the title of the Post-MSN Certificate to be consistent with the changes being proposed in Proposal #NU-07-04 in the Advanced Practice Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing track. One course 8200:612 Advanced Clinical Pharmacology is being deleted as a course for this track. Two courses, 8200:608 and 8200:610 will be prequisites for the certificate program. Two of the theoretical courses in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing track will be included:8200:665 Psychiatric Mental Health-Acute, APN II 3 credits and 8200:667 Psychiatric Mental Health-Chronic, APN III 3 credits. In addition the exact number of supervised and documented clinical practice hours needed to sit for national certification are being clearly stated. The certificate program sequence of courses has changed.
