Brief Summary of ProposalTo add a course that will expand the offerings in Middle Eastern History and will also contribute to the university's ongoing efforts to offer courses that critically analyze the concept of race. This will be one of the few courses on campus that analyze race outside of the African/African-American context. See proposal AS-08-071 for the 598 proposal.
