| Brief Summary of Proposal | This proposal is to delete the course 3400: 572 "Latin America: Origins of Nationality". This course is the graduate component of a slash course, designed to be taught in conjunction with the undergraduate course 3400: 472: "Latin America: Origins of Nationality". Since the Department of History is proposing to change the undergraduate portion of this course to the 300 level (see proposal AS-08-083), this course will no longer be a viable slash course at the graduate level. As the Faculty of the Department of History are currently updating the offerings in Latin American history, other more specialized courses are being proposed for the graduate level (see, e.g. proposal AS-08-89) instead of broad surveys for the region as whole, as 3400:572 is. |
