Brief Summary of ProposalThis proposal was funded by Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODM)and is designed for working registered nurses (RN) or other interprofessional health workers who may not have a baccalaureate degree who work in hospitals, nursing homes, or other community agencies who serve the population of severely persistently mentally ill and who need further preparation in the care of these patients/clients or who need college credit or continuing education credit for relicensure as an RN. Health care systems and community agencies such as state hospitals are requiring registered nurses to advance their knowledge of working with this population.
