| Brief Summary of Proposal | With the addition of new practicum options for the associate degree, the Certificate in Therapeutic Activities is being changed so that students can use either "Practicum in Therapeutic Activities" (the only field work option currently available) or "Practicum in Therapeutic Activities and Long-term Care" (a new option) to fulfill the field work requirement for the certificate. This new practicum, unlike the current one required for the certificate, can be used, as well, to fulfill the field work requirement for the Certificate in Gerontological Social Services and as one of the two practica required for the associate degree. |
