Brief Summary of ProposalThis proposal converts a special topics course into a regular undergraduate course, 3350:443 Urban Applications in GIS, offering readings, discussions, and hands-on exercises on the use of GIS to study cities and urban issues. The course will be a Geotechniques Elective for our BS in Geographic Information Science major. Students in our BA in Urban & Regional Planning and BA in Geography majors can take it as a general elective. (See proposal AS-09-106 for graduate counterpart.)
