| DLRC Comment | several concerns will be relayed to the originating unit so that we might obtain more information, including: the title of the proposal should be to change mode of delivery to fully online; it is not clear if the proposers want approval for web-based offerings also; it is not clear that the anticipated class size and workload has been considered; it is not clear how videos and “library materials” such as “printed scholarly journals” will be accessed by students in a fully online course that do not come to campus; it is not clear that copyright issues for the movies have been considered; will students taking an online section of this course have an advantage of books and notes in hand during exams vs. those students in face-to-face classroom offerings? |
