Brief Summary of ProposalThis proposal seeks to change the course number of Introduction to Women's Studies from 1840:300 to 1840:200. This would bring the course in line with Introduction to Women's Studies courses at other state universities. It deletes several special topic courses which are inappropriate for curriculum listing.

GEAC Comment11/10/09 - dropping 485 all together? Remove requirements minor in Womens Studies. Still have 300 listed nad yet adding to 200 level courses. Update summary. 2/24/2010 - change level from 300 to 200 approved. WS does not want to drop 485 altogether; request is to drop all the indivdual topics/qualifiers that are appearing in bulletin (pg 219).
