| Brief Summary of Proposal | When the World Civilization courses, 3400:385-391, were created many years ago, it was thought best to wait and expose students to non-American, non-European areas of the world in their junior year. Globalization and an increased emphasis at UA on global studies makes that attitude obsolete. Students need to have earlier access to these courses. This proposal is to change the prerequisites on World Civilization courses from 64 credits to 32 credits and to change the number from 300-level courses to 200-level courses, 3400:285-291. |
