Brief Summary of ProposalThis proposal replaces 6500:341 Human Resource Management with 6500:301 Management Principles and Concepts. This proposal also reflects the changes in admission requirements for the Coordinated Program as suggested in FAA-08-028. Also, discontinue the requirement for 6500:341 Human Resource Management. Add Management Principles and Concepts, 6500:301. Based on discussions with the College of Business, Management Principles and Concepts would better meet the foundation knowledge and competencies put forth by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetic Education (CADE). The Didactic Program students would then be better prepared with the basic management information required for entry-level dietitians.
