| DLRC Comment | NU-08-01 and -05: these proposals still have problems: In the 513/514 course sections there is confusion about CR/NC and continuing education students (how do the latter obtain a UA login?); having no pre-requisites for practicing nursing professionals is OK, but what about students who are not practicing yet?; having different course requirements for different students is questioned; using complete/incomplete grading is not part of our system; a bibliography is needed; Springboard, not WebCT, needs to be used: In the 515 course it is not clear why it cannot be repeated (what is the difference between a student taking four credits once, or two credits twice?). DLRC knows about the accreditation issue and requests that Nursing carefully edit these two proposals. If this occurs as needed, the committee will act on them in Sept. 2008 and they should be approved before the Spring 2009 semester. |
