Heather A. Jones, Ph.D. completed her doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of Maryland at College Park. Following her clinical internship at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, she completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Trained under a scientist-practitioner model, Dr. Jones’ research and clinical interests are in evidence-based assessment and intervention with families of children with disruptive behavior disorders. Specifically, her current clinical research program focuses on improving engagement in treatment for African American children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder. Dr. Jones has taught courses in Quantitative Methods in Psychology, Clinical & Counseling Psychology II, and Drugs & Human Behavior.
