Dr. Schmidt received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Michigan State University in 2003. His research focuses upon issues related to work motivation, individual training, and team training and performance. Dr. Schmidt has professional publications and presentations, as well as applied experience, on these topics. His publications have appeared in journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology and Personnel Psychology. Among his recent work is research focused upon understanding and improving performance in complex multi-tasking contexts.
