Whether you are a seasoned member and regular attendee…or fairly new to NAPM Akron, please join us Tuesday, September 20th at the Hilton Akron/Fairlawn for our 1st dinner program of the new season.  We meet on the 3rd Tuesday most months at the Hilton (check our Calendar to be sure).  We’ll kick off the year by honoring our scholarship recipients plus learn something new about ‘Employment Law’ from our featured speaker Sergio Carano, an Attorney with Amer Cunningham Co., LPA.

Come early (at 5:30) for ProD (professional development) and networking…and pick up some information you probably never really understood about a more personal subject, ‘Living Wills, Wills & Trusts’.  It will be interesting!  Thanks in advance for making a reservation because it really helps in planning.

Purchasers and Suppliers of Metal Parts: Do your Relationships Need a Kick?

If so, we’ve got you covered, thanks to the upcoming makeitmetal Purchasing Fair, sponsored by PMA and endorsed by first index and local chapters of the National Association of Purchasing Managers.  Slated for November 3, 2005, in Cleveland, OH, the event allows purchasing and engineering professionals to meet face-to-face with contract manufacturers of metal-component parts and assemblies. The format is unique to the market—PMA is inviting purchasers and specifiers of metal component parts to exhibit, free of charge, who will set up tables with identification signs for their companies. Then, representatives from metalforming companies—suppliers of stamped, formed and fabricated metal parts, as well as tooling and dies--will come to meet with the purchasers and explore opportunities to work together.

To register as an exhibitor—a purchaser or specifier of stamped and fabricated sheetmetal parts—log on to www.makeitmetal.com/purchasingfair.  Remember—your exhibit table is free of charge.  Then you can relax, sit back and let PMA deliver the suppliers to you.

Learn more at www.makeitmetal.com/purchasingfair, or call Allison Grealis at 216/901-8800.
