TEACHING

Look for me teaching:

Graduate: Health Communication, Interpersonal (Directed Study), Group Communication, Organizational Communication, Communication Theory

Teaching Philosophy:

Students are expected to embrace a collaborative learning model in which they participate in the learning process through (a) oral presentation of materials, (b) contributions to discussions, and (c) participation in group projects. Classes are structured to balance theory with application. Students are exposed to the past, present, and future insights of the communication context under study. This learning experience includes relevant perspectives on technology, ethics, and intercultural issues.

Open Door Policy: My communication style encourages students to seek assistance for problems or encouragement in career paths.
