Here’s the latest....”Turn Blue: The Short Life of Ghoulardi” will air on Western Reserve PBS as follows:

Tuesday, October 27 at 9:00 pm
Wednesday, October 28 at 2:00 am
Saturday, October 31 at 7:30 pm

It will also sir on WRPBS “Regional Fusion” channel as follows:
Thursday, October 29 at 9:00 pm
Saturday, October 31 at 7:30 pm

Good news, Group! The film will make it’s debut at this year’s Ghoulardifest on Friday, October 23, 2009. The film will screen starting at 7:45pm, with a short Q&A session immediately following....

Wow...way too long! The first draft ran 1:30....more than 30 minutes longer than it should be for air on Western Reserve Public Media. That’s a lot of cutting...especially as there are things in that 30 minutes that I think really need to stay in.

This is one of those things that is always frustrating about the process...you care more about the project than the average person will. So you have to really think about what you are doing, what’s most important to the core story, and what will keep the story line moving forward. Everything else has to go...or else.

Really, unless you are Scorcese or Coppola or Tarantino, longer is not necessarily better.

And now the movie, folks....

Now that I have collected all those photos, it’s time to start editing. What that means is fewer posts in the next couple of weeks as I spend more and more time working on the edit.

I am already almost 6 weeks behind where I wanted to be. That's not terribly unusual, as my initial target is almost always unrealisitic. Don’t know why, but that’s the case. I always seem to think things are going to go a lot faster than they do.

So, pardon me while I go edit!
