Bobbi Finley

Bobbi was born in Akron, Ohio, grew up in LaHabra, California, and came back to Ohio after college. She has lived in Stark County, Ohio, for the past 20 years.

In addition to the mountain dulcimer, she plays the banjimer, piano organ, and alto sax. She started playing the dulcimer in 1992. That is when she joined Mixed-Up Strings.

She won First Place in the Novice Division at Roscoe Village Dulcimer Days in 1993.

Besides MUS, she also plays with the Wayne County Mountain Dulcimers and with Dulcimers and Such.

She is a retired history and government teacher who taught in the public schools for 32 years. She enjoys genealogy, gardening, and politics in addition to her music.
