The School of Communication at The University of Akron has more than 700 undergraduate majors, 20 full-time faculty and several area professionals teaching part-time. The school’s classrooms, faculty offices, media facilities and computer labs are housed in Kolbe Hall. Opportunities for students to apply their classroom learning and to network with professionals are incorporated into the curriculum through internships and participating community partners.
