Dr. Kathleen D. Clark

Kathleen D. Clark (Ph.D., Ohio State University) teaches Effective Oral Communication, Advanced Public Speaking, Intercultural Communication and Interpersonal Communication at the undergraduate level, and Survey of Communication Theory and Intercultural Communication at the graduate level.  Combining intercultural experiences and spiritual interests, Clark has published research about using spiritual connectedness as a resource for negotiating difficult communication in an interracial friendship, the communicative practices that formed a feminist spirituality group, and has been involved for many years in using and developing the theoretically grounded Sense-Making Methodology.  Her current research interests include ethnographic research methodology and exploring how spirituality makes a difference for communicating.
