Dr. Patricia S. Hill

Patricia S. Hill (Ph.D., Bowling Green State University) teaches Introduction to Public Speaking, Effective Oral Communication, Intercultural Communication and Qualitative Research Methods. Her research interests include gender, ethnicity, critical pedagogy and aging. She has published book chapters and articles in various journals, such as Women and Language , The Gerontologist and The Electronic Journal of Communication .  She implements her interests in intercultural and critical pedagogy via interactive classroom methods to increase critical thinking skills. She is involved in campus initiatives for recruitment and retention of students of color.
