Andrew S. Rancer (Ph.D., Kent State University) teaches Communication Research, Communication Theory, Persuasion, Nonverbal Communication, Training Methods in Communication and Communication & Personality on both the graduate and undergraduate level. His research focuses on the communication traits of argumentativeness and verbal aggressiveness. He is the author of two books, Argumentative and Aggressive Communication: Theory, Research, and Application (Sage) and Building Communication Theory (Waveland Press). He is currently working on research related to understanding nonverbal behaviors associated with aggressiveness.
