Flexibility is the key to The University of Akron’s graduate program in Communication.
Students, who want professional careers, can specialize in skills classes designed to help them get ahead in today’s competitive work environment. Co-curricular activities, professional organizations and internships offer practical, hands-on experience.
Other students plan an academic career and take a more traditional approach to their graduate coursework. This rigorous training prepares Master’s graduates for doctoral programs and/or law schools. UA Master’s graduates are found in doctoral programs – and teaching in universities – across the nation.
Students in the graduate program in Communication can attend school full time or part time.
Many students continue their full-time careers while completing their degrees in the evening. Other students prefer to go to school full time, aided by generous graduate assistantships, scholarships and financial aid packages.
