Students who transfer from other colleges and universities are encouraged to see a School of Communication adviser immediately so that they might complete their program as efficiently as possible.

Students who transfer must take their final 32 credits at The University of Akron in order to receive a degree from The University of Akron.

In addition, students must complete at least 15 credits in the School of Communication in order to be eligible for a degree from the School (regardless of how many transfer credits may be accepted).
