The undergraduate concentration in Interpersonal and Public Communication is a broad-based area of study which involves understanding how messages are created and delivered for maximum effectiveness in both interpersonal and public communication contexts. Students interested in careers in politics, counseling, social services, human relations, law, among many others, are especially attracted to this concentration. Coursework in this concentration emphasizes both written persuasive communication excellence, as well as competence in the presentation of messages with precision, dynamism and charisma.
