General Education Speech

The School of Communication offers multiple sections of the two courses which meet the General Education Speech oral communication requirements. Introduction to Public Speaking (7600:105) focuses on individual presentations while Effective Oral Communication (7600:106) has a combination of individual and group presentations. Both courses are 3 credits, require the same textbook, require that students complete the Information Literacy assignment, and are part of the First Year Experience.
