Because Akron Women in History Kids' Page is committed to protecting children, we have instituted a firm and effective policy to deal with those individuals who attempt to exploit children via the Internet. Submissions to Akron Women in History Kids' Page are carefully monitored by our editors to ensure that they meet our strict guidelines before being posted to our website. In processing submissions and before publication, Kids' Page editors will remove personal information such as postal addresses, physical descriptions, last names, or any other information that may possibly attract unwanted attention.
All submissions to Akron Women in History Kids' Page become the sole property of The University of Akron. We do not collect, share or store information about visitors with any third parties.
Upon verification of identity, Akron Women in History Kids' Page will provide a summary of submitted information about a participant to that participant's adult caretaker.
