How do we explain the look
of this website?

We know that this website looks a little trashy. We designed it like that.

The University of Akron is an urban campus, smack dab in the
middle of the city. Students hustle to classes in a converted department store and in an old train station. We think that makes
The University of Akron special.

We thought our website should reflect the urban feel of our
campus. We rejoice in the gritty character of our city and
our campus.

We're proud of our heritage.
