Coaches can make a lot here at The University of Akron -- or not so much. It all depends on the sport.
J.D. Brookhart, who coached the football team to its MAC win, is paid the most. But others aren't paid as much as you'd think. Even league championships don't necessarily guarantee a top salary for the coach.
