PROJECT
PROPOSALS TERM PAPER PROPOSALS (candidate policy position paper or
program evaluation paper) must be in outline form. Instructions can be found HERE. *Note: the proposal must be
turned in on or before the due date and approved in order for you to proceed with your final project. Failure to
submit a proposal will result in a grade of 0 on
your final project. SERVICE LEARNING PROPOSALS Write 1
page, typed description of what you would like to do in fulfillment of the
project requirement. Include the
following information: ° Header with your name, the date, and
the course number °
The
option you have chosen (volunteer, agency visits, advocacy, or literature
review) °
A
brief explanation of why you chose the option 1. Include at least two specific
learning objectives for yourself that relate to the objectives of the course. 2. If this is a service learning
project, you must describe at least one way in which this project will be
beneficial to low income children and families. °
Which
agency(ies) will be involved (you must work with an agency that will
allow you to work with poor, near poor, or at risk clients) °
Names
and phone numbers of contacts (you
must contact the agencies to know whether your project is feasible prior
to turning in your proposal) ° the service activity(ies) you will be involved in *I reserve
the right to request changes to your proposal based on feasibility or
appropriateness of topic/agency. After the due date, you may not change your
project topic unless you convince me that you have a compelling reason for
doing so. Note: If
