Criteria for Evaluation

 

NOTE: YOU MUST SHOW UP AT THE DATE/TIME YOU HAVE SIGNED UP FOR YOUR PRESENTATION OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT. IF AN EMERGENCY PREVENTS YOU FROM DOING SO, CONTACT ME IMMEDIATELY.

 

 

1)     Written Outline                                                 10 pts.

a.      must be type written  2 pts.

b.      at least 1 page in length  2 pts.

c.      clear and understandable (may be outline or summary form) – 6 pts.

 

     2)    Visual Aid/Handout                                         10 pts.

 

2)     Adherence to time limitation (10 minutes)       5 pts.

 

3)     Clearness of Communication                            5 pts.

a.      speech clear and loud enough for the entire class to hear  5 pts.

b.      use of proper grammar, clarity of speech  5 pts.

 

4)     Was the Presentation Informative?                  15 pts.

Convey useful information about the organization/project/lit review

Try to anticipate class’ questions/Answer any questions from class

Give contact information when applicable (remember that some of these organizations are good internship placements for family/child development majors)
